Essential oils can be used in one of three ways: 

  1. Aromatically: Either by adding a few drops with water into a diffuser or inhaling the scent directly from the bottle.
  2. Topically: Use on the skin either directly or combined with a carrier oil.
  3. Internally: Ingesting as a dietary supplement or to add flavor to foods.
